Two Names on Our Sealant Shelf

Sealant is a small line on a purchase order and a large share of the callbacks. Joints move. Substrates differ. A product that performs on one assembly comes back on the next one, and the crew that installed it eats the trip.

So we don't stock a wall of sealant brands. We stock two we trust: Bostik and Pecora.

Bostik

Bostik manufactures construction sealants and adhesives across polyurethane, silicone, and hybrid polymer chemistries — the products that seal and bond assemblies expected to stay tight for years. It's a line our customers can specify without hedging, and one we keep on the shelf rather than ordering in.

For the crews doing volume work, that consistency is the whole point. Same product, same performance, available when the truck comes.

Pecora

Pecora is the newer name on our shelf, and one our customers asked for.

Pecora makes construction sealants, coatings, and weatherproofing products — architectural silicone, polyurethane, and latex — including silicone formulated with non-staining technology for stone and masonry. That last detail matters more than it sounds. Staining on a natural stone facade isn't a warranty conversation. It's a replacement.

If you've been sourcing Pecora somewhere else, call the counter. We can quote it alongside the rest of your order.

Why two lines instead of ten

Depth beats breadth on a shelf like this.

Carrying two lines we know well means our counter staff can answer a substrate question without reading a data sheet aloud. It means we stock the sizes and colors that actually move, instead of one tube of everything. And it means when a manufacturer's rep is needed on a job, we have a relationship to call on rather than a phone number.

Between Bostik and Pecora, we can cover most of what a door, window, or facade job requires — and tell you plainly when it's the other one you want.

That's what we're buying when we choose who to represent: the product, and the support behind it.

We've supplied Texas builders and installers since 2008.

We get the job done.
