World Resources Is Now WR Distribution

A new name for the same company you have trusted since 2008.

If you have done business with us as World Resources, here is the most important thing to know: nothing about the way we work has changed. Same company, same team, same people answering the phone — and the same standard of service you have counted on for more than fifteen years.

What has changed is the name on the door. World Resources is now WR Distribution, and our website has moved to wrdtx.com.

Why we made the change

The new name says more plainly what we do. We are a specialty distributor of window and door components — weatherstripping, hardware, sealants, and the specialty items this industry relies on — serving builders, contractors, and installers across Texas and the surrounding region. "WR Distribution" puts that front and center, and it reflects where the business is headed.

Because we are headed somewhere. We are growing — expanding our inventory, adding to our team, and opening a second distribution hub in Houston to bring deeper local stock and faster service to the Gulf Coast. As we grow, we wanted one clear, consistent name and identity behind everything we do. This new brand is part of that next chapter.
